What does Focused ABA sessions look like?

Focused ABA sessions are goal-oriented and targeted, allowing learners to work on specific skills while maintaining engagement and motivation throughout. Depending on the learner's goals, therapy may include games, conversations, community-based activities, real-life practice, or structured learning opportunities to encourage skill development and independence. Sessions take place with 1 learner and 1 Instructor Therapist, with additional peers available for social and group learning goals as applicable.

Collaborative Care

We believe collaboration is essential to meaningful progress. With parent or caregiver consent, our team works closely with families, school teams, speech-language pathologists (SLP’s), occupational therapists (OT’s), psychologists, and other professionals to promote consistency across environments and support each learner's success.

How are goals chosen?

Goals are developed collaboratively with families following an assessment. We consider your child’s strengths, areas of need and the families priorities to create a personalized plan.

Why are sessions 1.5 hours?

Focused ABA sessions are designed for learners who benefit from targeted, goal-oriented support. The shorter session length allows therapists to concentrate on specific objectives while keeping learners engaged and motivated.

Focused ABA sessions are designed for learners working on grade-level academics, where missing school hours would be detrimental to overall progression. It is designed to support additional learning while taking into consideration the total length of the learner’s day.
