PEERS®
13-14 week program consisting of 13-14 sessions, held once weekly from 4:30-6pm.
What is this program about:
The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) is an evidence-based social skills program designed to help learners build and maintain friendships and navigate everyday social situations.
Through structured lessons, role-play, and guided activities, learners develop practical skills like starting and joining conversations, handling disagreements, using humour appropriately, and organizing social activities. Parents are also involved to support practice at home and help skills carry over into daily life.
PEERS® gives learners the tools and confidence to connect with peers, develop meaningful relationships, and succeed socially at school, in the community, and beyond.
Who is it for?
This group is designed for adolescent and teens ages 10 to 18 who are currently moving towards more independent social interactions and the complexities that come with this. Groups will pair learners of similar ages and goals.
