Cooking, Conversations & Life Skills

7-week program consisting of 7 sessions, held once weekly.

What is this program about:

Cooking, Conversations, and Life Skills is a hands-on group designed to support adolescents and teens in building independence through practical, everyday experiences. Participants develop cooking skills while learning essential life skills such as planning, organization, grocery shopping, and money management. Through structured activities, individuals practice selecting items in-store, understanding pricing, and completing basic transactions.

Alongside these skills, participants build social communication and confidence through collaborative cooking and real-life interactions. With guided support, individuals gain the tools needed to navigate everyday situations more independently in a supportive and engaging group environment.
