Instructor Therapists:
We are always looking for enthusiastic and dedicated instructor therapists to join our team! If you have a diploma or degree in behaviour analysis, psychology, education, or a related field and experience or interest in working with special needs individuals, we want to hear from you! All candidates must have valid license, CPR, First aid, and Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Screen. Respite workers:
For those unfamiliar with the concept of respite, respite care is a family support service that provides temporary relief from the physical and emotional demands involved in caring for a family member who has a disability. Respite creates greater opportunities for all family members to live actively, participate in community activities, and allows parents/guardians time for themselves. It can be challenging for families to find suitable respite care providers to work in their homes, or facilities that provide respite care. If you are working towards building a career in working with special needs individuals or are interested in helping families, then we are interested in hearing from you! Community support workers:
Community support worker is a broad category that can include social workers, child and youth workers or education in a related field and experience or interest in working with special needs individuals. Students:
One Care is pleased to provide opportunities for students to gain meaningful experience in the field of Autism. We have student placements in various areas such as applied behaviour analysis, social skills groups, preschool programs, respite, and administration. If you working towards completing a diploma or degree in behaviour analysis, psychology, education, or a related field and experience or interest with working with special needs individuals, we want to hear from you! All candidates must have valid license, CPR, First aid, and Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Screen. Volunteer:
The volunteer program is an integral element that supports and enables the delivery of services at One Care and the achievement of the Centre’s mission to empower individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and their families, to fully participate in their communities. We are always looking for dedicated and passionate volunteers to bring unique perspectives and skills to our programs and services. Volunteers are at the heart of our community and their commitment is invaluable to the families we serve. All candidates must have a Recent Vulnerable Sector Police check, CPR and First Aid.
